Big Heart exists to be a Christ-centered home that works alongside single mothers. We aim to give each child every opportunity to reach their full potential. Equipping them with the knowledge and abilities they need to ensure a great future.

Ministries:
Big Heart Ministries is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Christian organization. We are dedicated to being a blessing through 2 ministries (Big Heart Orphanage & Colegio Regents) in 3 locations. Reynosa Tamaulipas, Matamoros Tamaulipas and Ramos Arizpe Coahuila are all located in Mexico.
Purpose:
Our purpose is to strive daily to emulate the love, passion, and grace that God offers through His Son Jesus to the world. Transforming one life at a time of the children that are currently living in our care
Why we exist:
4 out of every 5 children in orphanages have at least one living parent. Often for various circumstances, the living parent decides the best option for their child is to give them up by placing them in an orphanage. Big Heart was created to bridge that gap. Big Heart works alongside single parents, by taking in their children. Then Big Heart begins to pour into the lives of the parents and children.
Every other weekend the parents of the children take their kids home for 48 hours and the other weekends of the month the mothers of the children come to the orphanage to participate in “Family Days”.
We hope that one day the kids can go back home to live with their parents. Until then, we hope to love on them and share with them the love of Christ.
Impact:
Big Heart Ministries has had an impact on hundreds of children’s and mothers’ lives. Our Homes can hold from 60-80 kids across all three locations. Our Private Christian School has over 500 students enrolled every year, this allows us to better serve and share the love of God with families outside of Big Heart.
